Theory Of Operation

DataAct Version Chooser is written in LabVIEW and is 100% pure "G".  The application and components are built using LabVIEW 7.1 and deployed using the LabVIEW 7.1 run-time engine.  When executed, DataAct Version Chooser reads the command line arguments (files(s) and action), determines the LabVIEW version of the file, and provides an interface to the user.

Since the DataAct Version Chooser tools are built executables and use the run-time engine, it does not require LabVIEW 7.1 to be installed.
